Two of his brothers were also General of the Empire.
The most famous being Pierre David de Colbert-Chabanais, known as Édouard de Colbert-Chabanais, Colonel of the Red Lancers!
His other brother Louis-Pierre-Alphonse, Count of Colbert-Chabanais did not obtain his General stars until 1814

Thomas Plunkett of the 95 Th Rifles killing General Auguste de Colbert-Chabanais

Tom was a real sniper, the crack of the 95 Th Rifles cracks.
